Woman Sues After Suffering Serious and Mutilating Injuries to Her Genitals From Ride on a Sea-Doo

A lawsuit was filed in the Texarkana Division of the Eastern District of Texas on December 10, 2018 by a woman complaining of painful injuries sustained while riding a 2008 Sea-Doo Model RXT.

According to the plaintiff, on May 29, 2017 she and her male driver were operating the Sea Doo, a personal watercraft, in a safe manner. The plaintiff alleges the Sea-Doo began to accelerate, causing her to slide off the back of the passenger seat. The plaintiff further alleges she fell and landed directly behind the watercraft, very close to the waterjet thrust on the jet dive propulsion system. The plaintiff has complained she suffered serious, mutilating injuries to various parts of her body, including her genital area, colon, and internal organs, among others.

The incident reportedly caused plaintiff to endure excruciating pain, intense mental anguish, significant physical impairment and disfigurement. The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified damages amount.
