On Monday, January 8. 2024, a woman was killed and several others were injured in a multi-vehicle crash involving a commercial vehicle. Precinct 4 Constable’s Office reported the incident. The driver of an 18-wheeler jumped the median and crashed into oncoming westbound traffic resulting in a deadly head-on collision. Harris County Precinct deputies said the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The total number of people injured has not been disclosed at this time. The six-vehicle crash occurred on the 3050 block of FM 2920 Road near Covington Bridge Drive.
