Simplay3 Company Recalls Toddler Towers: Parents Beware

New Parents and expecting parents often trust baby brands to create and sell safe equipment for their new bundles of joy. Unfortunately, the baby/toddler gear industry is competitive, causing certain brands to cut corners and rush new exciting products to market without thorough safety testing. 

When hazards are discovered by the public this forces companies to address and remedy the issue. Sometimes it is too late to remedy—Simplay3 Toddler Tower which tragically has caused 10 serious injuries to toddlers, including 6 head contusions. The toddlers were injured after the toddler towers reportedly tipped over while in use.  The towers were sold between November 2018 through June 2023 on popular retail sites such as Amazon.com, Target.com, Walmart.com, TheSimplay3company.com, and other online sites. The towers were sold in stores at Buttercup Baby Store, Fun Stuff, Midstates, and other toy stores nationwide.

This has led the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Simplay3 to recall the defective and dangerous Toddler towers. Over 108,000 toddler towers are subject to the recall. The recall involves model numbers 41807-01 (Espresso), 41807-02 (Gray) and 41807-03(White). The model number is located on the underside of the base of the tower.
