Eastern Texas Baptist University Student Killed by 18-Wheeler Driver

Several weeks ago, Hunter Dorram, 23, of Grand Prairie, Texas, was killed by an 18-wheeler driver on I-20 in Harrison County, Texas. According to police reports, Dorram was crossing I-20. He had just stepped off of the median and entered the roadway when a Freightliner 18-wheeler hit him. EMS was called, however, Dorram was pronounced dead at the scene by a Justice of the Peace.

East Texas Baptist University released a statement, saying they were “deeply saddened to share the news that East Texas Baptist University student Hunter Dorram passed away on Monday morning…in a vehicle accident. Hunter was a senior business administration major, scheduled to graduate in May and is originally from Colorado and attended high school in Kennedale, Texas. He was a four-year member of the ETBU Tiger hockey team.”
