Confidential Settlement Reached in Premises Case Against Taco Bell

Firm attorney Benny Agosto, Jr. has reached a confidential settlement against Taco Bell regarding an incident that occurred in May 2015. The settlement brings a favorable end to the family’s lawsuit seeking compensation for the severe injuries a minor sustained while at the restaurant.

On this day, the family was ordering food when suddenly and without warning the restaurant’s chair the young child was sitting in collapsed. After the incident, an employee inspected the chair and determined it was missing a peg off the back leg.

The minor child was rushed to the hospital where it was determined he suffered a left femur fracture which required surgery. The mother, father, and sister who were with the child and witnessed the incident, also recovered a confidential amount for their bystander claims.

Through persistent efforts, the attorney for the family was able to reach a confidential settlement alleging Taco Bell was negligent for failing to maintain, inspect, and ensure the premises was reasonably safe. Although the total amount is confidential, the settlement reached provides a just resolution for their clients.
