Child Killed in Golf-Cart Crash in Trinity County

A six-year old girl has been killed in a golf-cart crash in Trinity County, Texas. The tragic accident occurred in the afternoon on Sunday, January 17th 2016. The little girl was visiting with her family on a trip from Bacliff, Texas. According to ABC13, “Officials say two children were in a golf cart when it overturned onto its side while making a turn.”

DPS reports states that an eight-year old boy was driving the golf cart at the time of the accident but sustained no injuries. The golf-cart overturned onto the six-year old passenger identified as Kendall Lasseter. Kendall was transported by paramedics to East Texas Medical Center in Trinity, where she was later pronounced dead. The accident is still under investigation.
