A fire broke out at the facility around 4 a.m. on Saturday morning sending seven employees to Christus Hospital St. Mary. “There was some smoke inhalation, there was some trauma…apparently some of the guys were working at some sort of a height, so they jumped off scaffolding or ladders to evade whatever it was,” said Dr. Kyle Peterson, emergency room director at Christus Hospital St. Mary who helped to personally treat six of the injured workers.
