Attorney Brant Stogner Brant Stogner, trial attorney at the Houston law firm of Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Agosto, Aziz & Stogner , was included on the 2014 list of Texas Super Lawyers published in Texas Monthly magazine. Recognition by Super Lawyers is restricted to the top five percent of attorneys practicing in Texas. Mr. Stogner first appeared on the list in 2013.

Attorney Stogner joined the firm in 2006 and his trademark ever since has been trying cases to verdict. In law school, he was a National Champion in mock trial and National Best Advocate in moot court. In his first three years at the firm, he tried 12 cases to a successful jury verdict. He focuses on significant and catastrophic personal injury cases, product liability matters, business disputes and insurance bad faith claims and has helped hundreds of clients obtain compensation for their injuries and economic damages.

Mr. Stogner is board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Personal Injury Trial Law, obtaining this certification in the first five years of practicing law. His notable cases include the largest verdict in Texas in 2009 in a workplace injury case, with a verdict of over $20 million. Mr. Stogner has appeared on numerous local and national news networks regarding his cases involving gas explosions, 18 wheeler collisions, and cases involving traumatic brain injuries and comas.

His work has been recognized in a number of legal publications, including Verdict Search’s Top Texas Verdicts of 2009; H Texas magazine’s Houston’s Top Lawyers 2013; and Houstonia magazine’s Top Lawyers 2013. He was named as a Texas Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2011, 2012, and 2013. In 2014, he was listed by the National Trial Lawyers Association in the Top 40 Texas Attorneys Under 40. His service to the legal profession includes membership on the Board of the Houston Trial Lawyers Association, where he also serves as a Vice President and Chair of Membership. He is a founding member of the South Texas College of Law Houston Young Alumni Council and serves on the Board of Directors of the South Texas College of Law Houston Alumni Association. His other contributions to the profession include articles in a variety of legal publications and teaching Continuing Legal Education seminars and classes.
