(Houston, TX) Attorney Benny Agosto, Jr., partner at the Houston law firm of Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Agosto, Aziz & Stogner, has been selected to the Texas Super Lawyers list for 2016. This year’s inclusion marks Mr. Agosto’s 12 th appearance on the list. Selection to the list is a prestigious honor for any Texas attorney and appears annually in the Texas Monthly and Texas Super Lawyers magazines. Most recently, Mr. Agosto was recognized by the Houston Baptist University with the Distinguished Alumnus Award and was induced into the HBU Athletic Hall of Honor.
In addition to representing hundreds of individuals who have been seriously injured, Mr. Agosto also serves the community through positions in professional organizations, including those that support young Hispanics aspiring to be attorneys. He previously served as President of the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) and is the Founder and President of the Mexican-American Bar Association of Texas Foundation (MABATx Foundation). The MABATx Foundation has raised over $275,000 for scholarships extended to Hispanic law students since the Foundation was established.
