He previously served as President of the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) and is the Founder and President of the Mexican-American Bar Association of Texas Foundation (MABATx Foundation). The MABATx Foundation has raised over $275,000 for scholarships extended to Hispanic law students since the Foundation was established.
