Mo Aziz, a partner at the Houston personal injury law firm of Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Agosto, Aziz & Stogner, has been named to the Texas Super Lawyers list for 2015. Only five percent of practicing attorneys in Texas appear on the Super Lawyers list each year. This is the third time that Mr. Aziz has been included on the Super Lawyer list. Before his inclusion in Super Lawyers, he was selected to the Rising Stars list from 2008 to 2013.
Mr. Aziz has worked at the firm since 2006, first as an associate attorney and then as a partner since 2012. While practicing at Abraham Watkins, Mr. Aziz has helped secure settlements and verdicts totalling more than $100 million. He has been board certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 2012, a certification obtained by only a handful of Texas lawyers.
He has served on several Plaintiff’s Steering Committees, including the Hurricane Evacuation Bus Fire and the Victoria Bus Litigation steering committees. He has also served on the Plaintiff’s Executive Steering Committee in the West Fertilizer Plant Explosion that resulted in 15 fatalities, several hundred injuries, and several hundred millions in property damage.
