Houston, Texas (January 2024) — The law firm of Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Agosto, Aziz & Stogner is proud to announce that Jonathan Sneed is now Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization (TBLS). Only one percent of all attorneys in Texas are board certified in Personal Injury Trial Law, which demonstrates that Jonathan is among a prestigious group of personal injury lawyers practicing in Texas.
To achieve board certification, a lawyer must complete all requirements established by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Eligibility criteria includes practicing law full-time for at least five years, having a minimum of three years of personal injury trial law experience, trying at least 10 personal injury trial law cases, receiving qualified references from judges and lawyers in personal injury, completing 60 hours of continuing legal education in personal injury trial law approved by the TBLS, and passing an extensive 6-hour personal injury trial law exam.
Jonathan has been practicing personal injury in Texas for over ten years. He initially joined Abraham Watkins as a law clerk in 2013 and returned as an Associate in 2017, where his practice has exclusively focused on catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases. This includes gas explosions, product defects, workplace injuries, premises liability, and truck accidents. He is admitted to practice in Texas and the United States District Courts for the Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas. Jonathan is an Honors graduate of Texas A&M University and South Texas College of Law Houston and has been recognized on the Texas Rising Stars list since 2021.
