Alicia K. Patterson

A native of Dallas, Texas, Alicia Patterson is a Texas attorney with a desire to seek justice for her clients. Her current legal practice at Abraham Watkins focuses on a variety of personal injury matters, including premises liability cases, wrongful death claims, sexual assault cases, dram shop litigation, commercial trucking collisions, and products liability cases.

Ali attended undergrad at the University of Mississippi, where she was awarded the Dean’s Honor Roll, Chancellor’s Honor Roll, and  served as the Vice President of her sorority, Kappa Delta. She remained in Oxford, Mississippi for law school at The University of Mississippi School of Law where she was the recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship and the Pro Bono Award. Ali received the Pro Bono award in Law School after completing over 1500 pro bono hours of service working for International Justice Mission (IJM), a global human rights organization. Ali lived in Kampala, Uganda and Bucharest, Romania for a year of law school where she worked for IJM as a legal intern advocating for her clients who were victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse, child abuse and human trafficking. Through her time with IJM Ali cultivated a strong desire to advocate and seek justice for the entirety of her career. At Abraham Watkins she does just that by serving her clients with dedication and compassion. She lives by the motto of Micah 6:8 “ to act justly, to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”
