A horrific accident resulted in two fatalities when all eleven passengers were ejected from a 2004 Ford Econoline E-350 van after it flipped over. The accident occurred over this past weekend on I-95 in Massachusetts. The van was carrying a Polish American tour group with passengers from New York, Philadelphia, and New Jersey. The van was heading north, approximately 40 minutes from Boston, when it was struck by a Toyota Rav4 and the vehicles entered the median, where the Econoline van rolled over. The nine surviving occupants sustained serious injuries.
Recently, a tractor-trailer overturned while taking the ramp from inbound on the Southwest Freeway to southbound on the West Loop 610. Fortunately, the driver was not injured, but his load of cotton was strewn upon the highway, and some fell to the ramp below, blocking traffic for five hours.
Last night, a man was racing on I-45, the North Freeway, when he crashed into a patrol car driven by a deputy. The wreck occurred shortly before midnight near Victory Drive. The motorist slammed into a cruiser of a Precinct 4 Deputy Constable. The crash was so violent that it caused the police car to roll about four times before coming to a rest. The deputy received undisclosed injuries from the collision.
A violent two-vehicle collision between a Jeep Grand Cherokee and a Chrysler, sent four people to the hospital early Wednesday morning. According to the Houston Police Department, the collision occurred at 3:00 a.m. on the South Sam Houston Parkway feeder road at South Post Oak.
