The Houston law firm of Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Agosto, Aziz & Stogner is hosting a press conference on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at 12:30 p.m. (CST) to discuss the lawsuit. .

Houston attorneys, Mo Aziz of Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Agosto, Aziz & Stogner, and Hilda Sibrian of The Law Offices of Hilda Sibrian, represent six construction workers who were seriously injured while working on the 7 th floor of a Holiday Inn Express hotel building in North Houston. A lawsuit has been filed against Holiday Inn Express North Main, New Classic Investments, Inc. d/b/a Classic Construction Company Builders & Developers, and NAP Properties II, LLC.

On or about July 29, 2019, the workers were pouring concrete on the 7 th floor of the structure when the floor collapsed beneath them, causing them to fall down to the 6 th floor. The workers sustained severe injuries as a result of the collapse and subsequent fall.

The lawsuit alleges that conditions at the site were unreasonably dangerous due to the Defendants’ failure to provide adequate staff, tools, and training. Plaintiffs further contend that the construction workers were not given fall protection or protective equipment. The lawsuit also seeks to preserve all physical evidence and gain access to the accident site.

Building collapse Plaintiffs, Alberto Angeles, Nestor Flores, Kevin Gamez, Cesar Salazar, Feliciano Velazquez, and Carlos Torres, will be present at the press conference to answer questions.
