Houston attorneys, Mo Aziz of Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Agosto, Aziz & Stogner, and Troy J. Pradia of The Cox Pradia Law Firm filed suit against HEB and PGE Transport Inc. for a multi-vehicle motor vehicle collision that started when an HEB truck caught fire while travelling westbound down Interstate 10. The collision caused multiple fatalities and significantly injured other victims.

The incident occurred on August 20, 2019 in Fayette County, Texas, near the city of Schulenburg. The axle of the trailer being towed by HEB’s tractor caught fire, significantly interrupting the normal flow of traffic. As traffic slowed down and maneuvered around the burning tractor-trailer, another truck operated by PGE Transport failed to slow down in time and rammed the back of a vehicle occupied by Oliver Stokes and Shawn Wilson, who are represented by Mr. Aziz and Mr. Pradia.

The impact caused the vehicle occupied by Mr. Stokes and Mr. Wilson to became engulfed in flames.

At this time, it is unknown exactly what caused the HEB vehicle to catch fire, but Mr. Aziz and Mr. Pradia have filed a temporary restraining order in order to preserve all vehicles involved in the collision so that a team of investigators can perform necessary inspections.
