For the first time in the history of Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Agosto, Aziz & Stogner, two partners are serving simultaneously as presidents in the legal community. Benny Agosto, Jr. is the President of the Houston Bar Association and Brant Stogner is the President of the South Texas College of Law Houston Alumni Association.

Leadership has been a part of firm’s culture for 70 years. Now, these two partners have set new a benchmark in the leadership culture of Abraham Watkins.

Benny Agosto, Jr.: President Of The Houston Bar Association.

In May, Mr. Agosto was sworn in as President of the Houston Bar Association at their annual HBA Dinner. In the association’s 149-year history, Mr. Agosto is the second Latino to be president. The HBA is one of the largest metropolitan bar associations in the U.S., with 11,000 members.

Brant Stogner: President Of The South Texas College Of Law Houston Alumni Association.

Mr. Stogner was elected President of the South Texas College of Law Houston Alumni Association. This organization has more than 15,000 members across the U.S. Mr. Stogner graduated from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2006 and has since held a variety of roles there. While attending, he was a national champion in mock trial and moot court, and since graduating, he assists with adjunct advocacy coach training as well as supporting the law school’s varsity mock trial teams.
