Family Of Woman Thrown From Golf Cart At Houston Livestock Show And Rodeo Files Suit Against Driver, HLSR, Cart Owner And Cart Manufacturer

The driver, operating on behalf of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, made a sudden, unexpected left turn, ejecting Mrs. Herndon from the cart, head-first onto the pavement of the Reliant Stadium parking lot. Mrs. Herndon suffered a serious closed head injury as a result of the trauma.
The attorneys are seeking to hold the driver, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, the owner and lessee of the golf cart, and the original manufacturers of the golf cart responsible for the errors, omissions, and negligence that caused Mrs. Herndon to suffer a catastrophic head injury. The subject golf cart lacked basic and common safety features, including seat belts and proper hand-held restraints to prevent involuntary ejection, which is and has been the leading cause of injury by these products.
