Houston attorney Mo Aziz of Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Agosto, Aziz & Stogner represents the parents of two-year-old Heba Elziyadi, who was tragically killed on June 2, 2018 in the parking lot of the Bear Creek Islamic Center in west Houston.

The incident occurred at approximately 9:45 pm. The lawsuit alleges that the responsible driver failed to keep a proper lookout while navigating the parking lot, which is adjacent to a playground. Furthermore, the initial police report alleges that the lighting conditions in the parking lot were inadequate, and that the diminished visibility contributed to the collision.

Commenting on the lawsuit, the parents’ attorney Mo Aziz stated, “The driver of the Chevy Suburban was driving in an unpaved area of the lot and crushed Heba, who was playing with other children. The driver failed to stop at the scene. Lighting conditions may have been a factor.”
