(Las Vegas, NV) Nevada attorney Nathan Morris of Bighorn Law and Texas attorneys Mo Aziz of Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Agosto, Aziz & Stogner, Michelle Tuegel of Hunt & Tuegel, PLLC and Chad Pinkerton of The Pinkerton Law Firm, PLLC are representing Paige Gasper, a 21-year old college student from Wheatland, California. Paige sustained life-threatening injuries during the October 1, 2017 massacre at the Route 91 Harvest festival in Las Vegas, Nevada. The attorneys have filed suit against MGM Resorts International, Mandalay Corp., Live Nation Entertainment, Inc., Slide Fire Solutions, LP and the Estate of Stephen Paddock.

The press conference will focus on victim suffering, a movement for change to make people and places safer, and those responsible for failing to protect the innocent.

On October 1, 2017, Paige was attending the Route 91 Harvest festival at the Las Vegas Village open-air concert venue across from Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. During Jason Aldean’s performance, Stephen Paddock opened fire on the unsuspecting concert-goers from the 32nd floor of his hotel suite at Mandalay Bay. One of Paddock’s bullets entered Ms. Gasper’s right underarm, traversed breast tissue, shattered ribs, and lacerated her liver before exiting her right side.

Paige’s lawsuit includes premises liability claims against MGM Resorts International and Mandalay Corp., intentional tort claims against the Estate of Stephen Paddock, and products liability claims against Slide Fire, the manufacturer of the bump stock device.

Paige attends college at Sonoma State University and is set to graduate in May 2018 with a degree in psychology. Prior to the shooting, Paige was working three jobs, while an honor student, also making the Dean’s List.
