Houston attorneys Mo Aziz and Angelina Wike of Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Agosto, Aziz & Stogner represent several victims in a lawsuit against TRANSPORTES CHAVEZ INC., Juan Chavez, and TRANSPORTES Juan Chavez, S.A. DE C.V.
On December 21, 2019, the victims departed from Houston, Texas on a trip organized by TRANSPORTES CHAVEZ INC., a Houston based company. After passing through Cruzero de Huisache, Mexico and on the way toward San Luis Potosi, the bus driver lost control while speeding on the slick wet roads. The bus suffered a “rollover” and was forced onto its rooftop where it came to a stop.
Commenting on the lawsuit, Ms. Wike stated, “Our clients entrusted this Houston based bus company and bus driver to transport them safely to Mexico to visit their family for the Christmas holiday. Instead, our clients have experienced a Christmas nightmare. The traumatic rollover caused our clients to sustain serious injuries.”
