(Houston, TX) Houston attorneys, Mo Aziz and Karl Long of Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Agosto, Aziz & Stogner and Bilaal Badat of The Law Office of Bilaal Badat, PLLC, have filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Watson Valve Services, Inc., Watson Grinding and Manufacturing Co., KMHJ, Ltd. and KMHJ Management Company, LLC on behalf of the family of Frank Flores.

Around 4:25 a.m. on January 24, 2020, an explosion at Defendants’ facility rocked the city of Houston awake. Frank Flores was a long-term employee and had arrived on premises shortly before the explosion but had not yet clocked in. The explosion killed Mr. Flores who is survived by his wife of 26 years and two children.

Houston fire officials identified propylene as the chemical involved in the explosion. Propylene is a hazardous chemical that is highly flammable and can react vigorously with other materials to produce explosive mixtures. Attorney Mo Aziz states, “propylene is an explosive product that must be stored and handled properly. Our investigation is going to encompass the distribution and storage of this product.”
