Mr. Aziz currently represents over 3,000 veterans and active service members in the 3M Combat Arms Earplug Products Liability Litigation, several dozen first responders injured in the Arkema explosions during Hurricane Harvey, and hundreds of homeowners affected by Hurricane Harvey in complex litigation against developers and engineering firms. Additionally, Mr. Aziz represents 23 sexual abuse survivors in their claims against Larry Nassar, USA Gymnastics, and Michigan State University. In 2018, there was a global settlement with Michigan State University for $500 million that was apportioned between 332 claimants. He also represents over 1,300 individuals involved in the Las Vegas Route91 Harvest Festival Shooting. A $735 million – $800 million settlement was recently reached in this litigation. Mr. Aziz previously served on the four member Plaintiffs’ Executive Steering Committee in the West Fertilizer Plant Explosion, which resulted in 15 fatalities, several hundred injuries, and several hundred million dollars in property damage. He has also represented multiple victims of defective airbags designed and manufactured by Takata.
