Attorney Michelle Rice(Houston, TX) Attorney Michelle Rice of the Houston personal injury law firm of Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Agosto, Aziz & Stogner has been named to Texas Rising Stars list for 2019. This marks Ms. Rice’s first year on this list, which appears annually in the Super Lawyers and Texas Monthly magazines.

Each attorney selected to the Rising Stars list goes through the Super Lawyers selection process. Attorneys are chosen based on nominations, independent research, and peer evaluation. Ms. Rice’s inclusion on this list signifies that she is among the top 2.5 percent of attorneys in Texas under the age of 40, or among those who have been in practice for 10 years or less.

Ms. Rice is a graduate of Syracuse University, where she graduated cum laude. Following her undergraduate studies, she attended South Texas College of Law Houston on a Dean’s Merit Scholarship and received three different CALI Awards for receiving the highest grade in Consumer Transactions, Evidence, and Family Law. She was an inductee of the Order of Lytae, an honor society at South Texas, when she graduated law school in 2012.

Since joining Abraham Watkins as an associate in 2017, Ms. Rice’s practice has focused on personal injury. She represents injured individuals and family members in matters primarily related to wrongful death, automobile and trucking accidents, medical malpractice, products liability, premises liability, and workplace injury. She is currently involved in litigation pertaining to the mass shooting at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada and represents over 1,300 victims. Ms. Rice is admitted to all federal district courts in Texas.
