Houston, Texas (March 9, 2023) — The law firm of Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Agosto, Aziz & Stogner is proud to announce that Jessie Ormand has joined the firm as an Associate. Jessie is dedicated to aggressively pursuing the rights of individuals and family members who have been injured or killed as a result of another’s negligence. Her current legal practice focuses on a wide range of personal injury matters, including automobile and trucking accidents, products liability, premises liability, workplace injuries, and wrongful death. She is licensed to practice in the State of Texas and admitted in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Prior to joining Abraham Watkins, Jessie practiced at another plaintiffs’ personal injury law firm, where she gained valuable experience litigating personal injury cases across the state. Throughout her career, she has successfully litigated numerous cases in both state and federal courts in Texas which led to her being inducted into the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
Jessie is a graduate of Rhodes College and South Texas College of Law Houston. While pursuing her Bachelor of Arts degree in History at Rhodes College, she interned at the National Civil Rights Museum and assisted with community outreach and education programs for local public schools.
She is active in the legal community as a member of the Bar Association of the Fifth Federal Circuit, Texas Bar Association, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Houston Bar Association, Houston Trial Lawyers Association, and Houston Young Lawyers Association.
