The Houston personal injury law firm of Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Agosto, Aziz & Stogner is proud to announce that Jennifer O’Brien Stogner has joined the firm as Of Counsel. Mrs. Stogner began her legal career at a plaintiff’s litigation firm and since then has practiced as both a plaintiff’s attorney and a defense attorney. She has represented individuals, small businesses, and large corporations and has handled cases ranging from $800 to more than $80 million. Her current practice focuses on representing individuals and families who have been injured or killed as a result of another’s negligence. She handles a wide range of personal injury matters, including wrongful death, catastrophic injury, car and trucking accidents, construction accidents, product defects including automobiles and tires, traumatic brain injuries, explosions, medical malpractice, and insurance litigation.
Mrs. Stogner graduated from Texas A&M – Corpus Christi and double majored in Finance and Accounting. During college, she was a legal secretary for her father, which is when her desire to pursue a career as an attorney was confirmed. Following her undergraduate studies, she attended South Texas College of Law Houston, where she participated in the school’s nationally-ranked advocacy program, including 11 national moot court and mock trial tournaments. In her final semester, Mrs. Stogner won a Regional and National Championship in mock trial during the 2006 ATLA National Trial Competition. While in law school, she was on the Dean’s List, was nominated to the Order of the Barristers, and received the Dean’s Outstanding Student Advocate Award.
She is currently a Director of the Houston Trial Lawyers Association and is a member of the Monarch Oaks Community Association, Monarch Oaks Mom’s Club, and the Houston chapter of Gamma Phi Beta Alumnae.
