(Houston, TX) Attorney Brant Stogner, Partner at Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Agosto, Aziz & Stogner, has been named to the Top 100: Texas Super Lawyers list, the Top 100: Houston Super Lawyers list, and the Texas Super Lawyers list for 2020. This marks his eighth consecutive year to be recognized on the Texas Super Lawyers list and his second consecutive year to be recognized on both Top 100 lists. Following the selection process that considers nominations, independent research based on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement, and peer evaluation by practice area, only the top five percent of attorneys practicing in Texas are selected to the annual Super Lawyers list. For over 12 years, Brant has been practicing personal injury at Abraham Watkins. His practice focuses on catastrophic injury cases, including gas explosions, commercial auto accidents, workplace injuries, product defect injuries, and wrongful death cases. He is board certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and obtained this certification after only five years of practice, the earliest the certification can be achieved in Texas. Mr. Stogner is also a member of the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and was the youngest member inducted into the organization in 2015.
Brant served as the 2018-2019 President of the South Texas College of Law Houston Alumni Association, an organization with more than 15,000 members across the nation. He was the inaugural recipient of the South Texas College of Law Houston’s Young Alumni Award in 2016. While attending South Texas, he was a national champion in mock trial and moot court, and now as a proud alum, Brant assists with adjunct advocacy coach training as well as supporting the law school’s varsity mock trial teams.
