(Houston, TX) Benny Agosto Jr., Partner at the Houston personal injury law firm of Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Agosto, Aziz & Stogner, recently began his duties as President-Elect of the Houston Bar Association for the 2018-2019 bar year. He was elected to President-Elect in the spring and took office at the Houston Bar Association Annual Dinner on Thursday, May 17, 2018.
Mr. Agosto is board certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He has represented hundreds of clients, securing numerous multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements during his legal career. In addition to practicing law, Mr. Agosto also serves the community through positions held in professional organizations. He is a former President of the Hispanic National Bar Association and is the Founder and President of the Mexican-American Bar Association of Texas Foundation, which organizes scholarships annually for Hispanic law students in Houston. He is currently the President of Houston Volunteer Lawyers, the pro bono legal aid arm of the Houston Bar Association.
