The topic of the interview was diversity in the legal profession. Mr. Agosto expressed the importance of celebrating diversity within the legal community. The podcast covered bar leadership and diversity initiatives that are taking place within the Houston Bar Association.
Houston is the most diverse city. Yet the law profession is the least diverse of all professions. Mr. Agosto has personally devoted time and attention to increasing diversity to the practice of law and the Houston legal community.
Mr. Agosto is working on several diversity initiatives, including the creation of diversity awards, honoring different groups of lawyers who have not been historically recognized in the past.
