Polaris Recalls Multiple Off-Road and All-Terrain Vehicles

Polaris is taking heat for defective Off-Road and All-Terrain Vehicles that it recently recalled. The recalled products at issue are the Sportsman 450 and 570 All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) (Model Years 2021-2023) and the RZR Pro R and Pro R 4 Recreational Off-Road Vehicles (Model Years 2022-2023). The ATVs were recalled on March 16, 2023, and the Off-Road Vehicles were recalled March 30, 2023. Over 80,000 total ATVs and Off-Road vehicles were sold prior to the recall.

The ATVs and Off-Road vehicles which were sold by Polaris, pose a hazard to even a reasonable user. The ATVs contain improperly assembled wiring harnesses that could contact the brake line and/or vehicle frame during use which can result in a loss of the use of the front brakes and/or fire, posing fire and crash hazards. While the Off-Road vehicles have an alternator that can fail during operation, posing a fire hazard.

Individuals who have been severely injured because of these hazardous products should know that they have legal options and are entitled to pursue compensation from the companies that created the defective products involved. For over 70 years, Abraham Watkins Law Firm has successfully represented injured people and families who fall victim to catastrophes. People who must suffer the death of a close loved one, or individuals who are seriously injured are often entitled to compensation as the result of the negligence of others.
