On Tuesday, February, 7 2023, in Fulshear, Texas, an 18-wheeler was traveling East on FM 1093. Simultaneously, another driver traveling North on FM 358 was operating a small pick-up truck. A witness reported seeing the driver of the 18-wheeler run a red light and collide with the driver of the pick-up truck. As a result of the collision, the driver of the pick-up truck was killed.
The driver of the 18-wheeler survived the major crash but sustained minor injuries. Additionally, the 18-wheeler turned over and hit a power line pole causing electrical blackouts in nearby neighborhoods as well as knocking down the traffic signal lights. The driver of the 18-wheeler is expected to be charged for the incident.
