In 2019, at approximately 3:00 in the morning, David Sollars, then 54-years-old, was working as a painter during a resurfacing and repaving project. Unfortunately, he was struck by a motorist. The jury found the construction company, Perk Co., was in fact liable for Mr. Sollars death and awarded $17 million.
