Fatal Hit-and-Run Collision Due to Truck Driving the Wrong Way

On October 15, 2022, at approximately 2:00 a.m., a motorcyclist was struck and killed by a pickup truck at 1900 Allen Parkway in Harris County, Texas. The victim was operating a motorcycle and was traveling westbound when a black Dodge Ram pickup truck was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes, which was the wrong way. The driver of the pickup truck fled the scene without rendering aid and left the vehicle behind.

Paramedics pronounced the motorcyclist deceased at the scene. The Houston Police Department is investigating the fatal hit-and-run crash and the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences is verifying the identity of the male victim, who was 26 years old at the time of the incident.
