The Houston Police Department is investigating a fatal vehicle collision that occurred on August 11, 2022, at about 4:35 a.m. near the 12400 block of the North Interstate Highway 45 in Harris County, Texas. The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences is verifying the identity of the driver of the Ford Ranger, who was 57 years old at the time of the incident. The driver of the Ford Mustang was transported to a hospital.
