A MOTORCYCLIST KILLED IN A CRASH IN WEST HOUSTON

On May 31, 2022, at around 11:40 p.m. officers responded to a fatal crash at the intersection of Harwin Drive and Fondren Road, in Houston, Texas, where a motorcyclist was found dead at the scene.

The investigating officers were told by the witnesses that the man was riding at a high rate of speed on Fondren when he ran a red light and crashed into a pickup truck and the truck collided with an SUV that was on Harwin at the red light and getting ready to travel.

The crash was witnessed by an off-duty HPD officer, who was at the red light on Harwin when the crash occurred and tried to provide medical assistance to the motorcyclist, but the man died before Houston Firefighters arrived.
