The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission recently issued a recall of Elite Comfort Solutions’ Nectar Premier Mattresses due to a failure to meet the Federal Flammability Standard for mattresses, posing a fire hazard.

The recall involves Nectar Premier Mattresses that were manufactured on two specific dates: King size manufactured on September 24th, 2021, and Queen size manufactured on September 27th, 2021. These mattresses have a white poly-blend top cover with black side panels and a vertical purple sash, as well as the “nectar” logo and the word “Nectar” embroidered at the foot of the mattresses.

Consumers are advised to contact Nectar Sleep for a free replacement mattress that does meet the federal standard free of charge, or a full refund, to be provided after the free removal and disposal of the recalled mattresses. Nectar Sleep itself is contacting all known purchasers individually and directly.

The units sold at www.nectarsleep.com from July 2021 through September 2021 for between $1,300 and $1,600 were recalled on April 21, 2022, and about 700 units were sold. Up to now, no injuries have been reported.
