Nine Killed and Two Injured in Head-On Collision

An accident in Andrews County, Texas, has claimed the lives of six college students, two other adults, and one minor. The accident occurred when the driver of a pickup truck drove head-on into a van containing a college golf team. Only two of the occupants in the van survived the violent incident. The reason why the driver of the pickup truck drove his truck headlong into the van is unknown.

The two survivors of the crash were life-flighted by helicopter to Lubbock, Texas. One survivor was taken to University Medical Center, while the other was taken to Covenant Medical Center. Each survivor is in critical condition as of March 16th, 2022.
