Fiery Multi-Vehicle Wreck Involving an 18-Wheeler Shuts Down i-10 Eastbound

Around 2 p.m. on October 31, a 2018 Freightliner commercial vehicle was traveling eastbound on i-10 when it crossed over an uneven section of road, causing the driver to slam on the brakes, which led to the 18-wheeler skidding across i-10 eastbound into the left lane where it struck a four-door sedan. A man driving a 2017 Harley Davidson watched the scene unfold before his eyes, attempted to stop, and lost control of his motorcycle. All three vehicles caught on fire due to the collision.

Thankfully, all three drivers survived the accident and were taken to CHRISTUS Southeast Texas St. Elizabeth hospital in Beaumont to be treated for their injuries.
