Suit Filed in Motor Home Rollover

Lee and Stephanie Courson were driving their 2017 Tiffin Allegro Red motor home when they tried to change lanes. The motor home became unstable. Mr. Courson tried to pull the motor home back onto the road when it began to roll. The roof completely collapsed, killing both Mr. and Mrs. Courson.

Suit was filed against Tiffin Motorhomes Inc., Daimler Trucks North America LLC and Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation. The plaintiffs claim that Mr. and Mrs. Courson had no idea how dangerous these expensive motor homes can be given they are not subject to any federal vehicle safety standards regarding roof strength or stability. Thus, when the motor home rolls, the structure completely collapses, leaving the occupants to be crushed by the weight of the frame and the motor home itself. Such occupants are often killed. The plaintiffs claim the defendants knew of these defects and did not warn them of the same.
