Celebrating 2014 National Hispanic Heritage Month at Abraham Watkins

This is a special time to celebrate the culture and contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans. The celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month started in 1968 when President Lyndon B. Johnson introduced Hispanic Heritage Week, which was then extended by President Ronald Reagan in 1988 to a month.
