An engineer turned lawyer, Jason is meticulous and driven in everything he does, and he is passionate about helping people to manage the unexpected and to get the relief they deserve.
Jason returned to Abraham Watkins in 2019 after leaving to work at the Supreme Court of Texas as a briefing attorney and then as an associate at a large law firm, where he represented companies involved in high-stakes business litigation. With his diverse legal experience and engineering background, Jason’s practice at Abraham Watkins includes personal injury, serious accidents, wrongful death, medical malpractice, premises liability, construction litigation, insurance disputes, and business litigation.
Jason grew up in west Houston, just outside the beltway. He graduated from Strake Jesuit High School and went on to the University of Texas, where he majored in electrical engineering and ran Cross Country and Track for the Longhorns. Jason worked for many years as an engineer before starting law school at South Texas College of Law, where he finished seventh in his class, participated on several of the school’s nationally renowned moot court teams, and was an Articles Editor on the Executive Board of the Law Review.
