Attorney Randy Sorrels Recognized As One of Texas’ Top 100 Lawyers

Attorney Randy Sorrels Randall O. Sorrels, a partner in the Houston personal injury law firm of Abraham, Watkins, Nichols,Sorrels, Agosto & Aziz, has been recognized as a premier Texas attorney in several Super Lawyers publications. He is currently listed in the Top 100: Texas Super Lawyers and the Top 100: Houston Super Lawyers and has appeared on these lists for eight and nine years, respectively. Mr. Sorrels is board certified in both Personal Injury and Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization; only one percent of attorneys in the state have more than one certification. His practice focuses on representing clients in cases involving serious personal injury, catastrophic events, wrongful death, and significant business disputes. He frequently teaches Continuing Legal Education classes on a wide range of topics related to his areas of practice, including structured settlements in personal injury cases, the role of mediation, insurance law, and fatigued and distracted drivers.

He is a leader within the Houston and Texas legal community and is the former President of the Houston Bar Association, the Houston Trial Lawyers Association, and the Houston Trial Lawyers Foundation. His recent contributions to the community include service as President of the Texas Association of Civil Trial and Appellate Specialists and as Chair of the Fellows of the Texas Bar Foundation. He serves on the Board of Directors of South Texas College of Law Houston. He has also served in numerous leadership capacities with the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the State Bar of Texas, the Equal Access to Justice Commission, and the Texas Supreme Court Historical Society.

His dedication to the profession has been recognized throughout the Texas legal community. In addition to his appearances in Texas Super Lawyers and in the Top 100 lists for Texas and Houston, he is also listed in H Texas Magazine's Houston's Top Lawyers list; and Houstonia Magazine's Top Lawyers List.
