Attorney Kelly WoodsThe Houston personal injury law firm of Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Sorrels, Agosto & Aziz is pleased to welcome Kelly Woods to the firm as an associate attorney. Mrs. Woods is deeply committed to helping clients through diligent representation in cases involving serious personal injuries and offshore accidents. She will be assisting clients in matters pertaining to car accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, defective drugs, oil field accidents, commercial disputes, and maritime injuries.

After receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Clemson University, Mrs. Woods began working at Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance, where she helped ensure quality construction and safe operation of critical infrastructures. During that time, she decided to pursue a career in law, fueled by a strong desire to help others.

Mrs. Woods attended the South Texas College of Law Houston on a Dean's Merit Scholarship, graduating Magna Cum Laude. During law school, she was active in varsity moot court and received the CALI Award for Excellence in Agency and Partnership. She also served as a member and Assistant Articles Editor of the South Texas Law Review, where she was awarded the Lisa Dahm Award for Writing Excellence in Public Policy for her Comment on Tort Reform. In 2013, she obtained her Doctorate of Jurisprudence and received membership in the Order of Lytae.

Mrs. Woods brings valuable knowledge and experience to her cases. She is licensed to practice in Louisiana and Texas and is admitted to all federal district courts in both states. Prior to joining Abraham Watkins, Mrs. Woods practiced at another prominent personal injury firm where she gained substantial experience in all aspects of litigation. She has also served as a judicial intern for Justice Charles Seymore of the Fourteenth Court of Appeals.
