Kelly Woods is deeply committed to helping clients through aggressive, diligent representation in matters involving serious personal injury and offshore accidents. Her experience includes automobile accidents, premises liability lawsuits, medical malpractice, defective drug cases, oil field accidents, commercial disputes, and maritime accidents. Prior to joining Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Sorrels, Agosto, and Aziz in 2016, she practiced at another prominent personal injury firm where she gained substantial experience in all aspects of litigation. She has also worked at various civil litigation law firms and served as a judicial intern for Justice Charles Seymore at the Fourteenth Court of Appeals.

After receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Clemson University, Kelly began working at Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance, a company helping multinational corporations ensure quality construction and safe operation of critical infrastructures. After working in Quality Assurance for two years, her overwhelming desire to help others led her to pursue a career as an advocate for injured workers.

Kelly attended South Texas College of Law Houston on a Dean's Merit Scholarship. While in law school, she was a Varsity Moot Court advocate and received the CALI award for excellence in Agency & Partnership. She also served as a member and Assistant Articles Editor of the school's law review, where she was awarded the Lisa Dahm Award for Writing Excellence in Public Policy for her Comment on Tort Reform. She obtained her Doctorate of Jurisprudence in 2013, graduating Magna Cum Laude and receiving membership in the Order of Lytae.

Kelly is licensed to practice in Louisiana and Texas and is admitted to all federal district courts in Texas and Louisiana. She is active in the legal community as a member of the State Bar of Texas, Houston Bar Association, Houston Young Lawyers Association, Houston Association of Women Attorneys, and Texas Trial Lawyers Association.
