Clyde Jackson III
With three decades of wide-ranging experience, Jay has the knowledge to help clients with virtually any type of wrongful death or personal injury case. Jay is intelligent, honorable, and passionately dedicated to his clients. To this end, Jay takes time to inform his clients about what to expect from the legal process and is there to guide them through it. He is personable, easy to talk to, and understands the concerns, fears, and worries clients face at difficult times in their lives.
Over the years, Jay has represented many people in motor vehicle injuries and death cases, including trucking and tire claims. He has also handled workplace injury cases, along with Jones Act and maritime cases. Jay further has experience with product liability cases, such as medical products and firearms. In addition, Jay handles select commercial cases.
Jay was born in Miami, Florida. He moved with his family to Texas at the age of seven, and has lived here since then. He grew up in Houston and Corpus Christi, and then attended the University of Texas, where he obtained both his undergraduate degree and law degree. After college, Jay moved to Houston in 1980. He has practiced law based from Houston his entire career. With his wife of 26 years and two adopted daughters from China, Jay is a member of Houston's First Baptist Church and teaches Sunday Bible Study there.
